On the evening of April 17th, 911±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s Secondary Girls gathered for a night at the elegant Grand Neret Reception to celebrate the annual Muslimah Ball — an event dedicated to honouring and uplifting our young Muslimahs.
Organised by the Student Support Department, the Muslimah Ball is a special occasion designed to celebrate the strength and grace of our girls, while providing them with a space to simply enjoy themselves, connect, and shine in a positive, uplifting environment.
Students graced the event in stunning, modest attire, bringing beauty and personality to every corner of the room. The evening was filled with laughter and joy as students indulged in delicious food, captured memories at the Photo Booth, and participated in a range of fun activities with exciting prize opportunities throughout the night.
A particularly heart-warming part of the evening was the student-nominated awards, which recognised peers for their inner and outer beauty. Awards such as "Best Dressed" and "Kindest Heart" were handed out, allowing students to celebrate each other’s unique qualities and uplifting one another in the spirit of sisterhood.
This inspiring event was proudly sponsored by the Community & Cohesion Support Program, whose support helped make the night a true success.
I’d like to extend heartfelt thanks to the dedicated SSD team for their work and commitment to making this a truly memorable night as well as the teachers who attended the event in their personal time to support and celebrate with the girls. Their presence truly added to the warmth and encouragement that made the evening so special.
The 2025 Muslimah Ball was more than just a night out — it was a powerful reminder of the vibrant, supportive, and faith-driven community that defines 911±¬ÁÏÍø.

Our recent Boys Night Out was an unforgettable evening filled with high energy, big laughs, and unforgettable moments! From the moment it kicked off, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement.
The night was packed with team-building games and challenges designed to push limits and strengthen bonds. A true standout was the Warrior Challenge – a thrilling test of strength, speed, and smarts. Our boys stepped up to the plate, showing incredible determination and team spirit. After plenty of sweat and strategy, we now officially know who to call if we ever find ourselves stranded in a jungle!
The evening was a perfect mix of adventure and friendly competition, showcasing the resilience, leadership, and brotherhood among our young men.
A huge shoutout to the amazing staff and volunteers who made the event such a success – your support and energy made all the difference.
This week, our Year 7–11 students took part in the Road Smart Interactive incursion, a program that features elements by the award-winning Road to Zero experience at the Melbourne Museum.
Designed to educate students about the crucial role we all play in reducing road trauma, the incursion delivered a highly engaging and interactive learning experience using cutting-edge immersive technologies. Students rotated through a series of interactive stations, each offering a unique and thought-provoking activity that encouraged them to reflect on their responsibilities as current and future road users.
The use of advanced technology helped bring the message to life and ensured the topic resonated with students on a deeper level. This important subject was presented in a captivating way that truly held the students’ attention and inspired them to think about how they can contribute to safer roads for everyone.
A big thank you to the Road Safety educators who facilitated the program. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2026!
We’re excited to launch our Student Voice Initiative for Primary School students, giving students the chance to represent their class and share their thoughts through our Thursday Think Tank Sessions.
These sessions are planned for Years 2–6, allowing students to bring forward their class’s Likes, Concerns, and Suggestions (LCS). Elected representatives will present these ideas to school leaders, helping us understand student perspectives and work together on meaningful improvements.
These sessions began last week with Year 6 students and will continue until the end of this term.
This initiative encourages confidence, leadership, and a sense of ownership in our students – because their voice matters.

We are thrilled to celebrate one of our very own students, Mostapha Rjoub from Grade 4, who has been recognised for his outstanding soccer talent. Mostapha has achieved an incredible milestone by being selected for the Melbourne Victory U10’s team – making him our youngest rising star in the sport!
Below is a reflection on his journey, shared in his own words:
"A few weeks ago I went to Gold Coast for a tournament with Melbourne Victory’s U10’s team.
When I arrived I was allocated a hotel room and it was right on the beach.
The first day I went to Dream World with my team and had so much fun.
The next day was day 1 of the tournament, and we played 3 games.
Day 2 we played another 3 games in Group Stage .
On day 3, we made it to the quarter finals, and lost on penalties. We stayed and cheered for the other U10’s, as they won the tournament.
It was a very good experience. I made a lot of friends, met new people and I learnt how to be independent."
We are incredibly proud of Mostapha and his remarkable achievement. His dedication, passion, and talent are an inspiration to our school community. We look forward to watching his journey unfold and wish him all the very best as he continues to pursue his soccer dreams!
